Hayabusa Fishing is a leading manufacturer of fly fishing hooks.  Whether fly fishermen are looking for wet versus dry fly fishing hook or the most precise-bodied nymph fly fishing hook, Hayabusa Fishing has a fishing hook ready to meet any fly fishermen’s needs.  The 374 Nymph Fly fishing hook is designed with a round bend, turned down eye, an extra long shank, and three times the heavy wire.  In order for fly fishermen to accurately re-create the nymph stage of mayflies, caddis flies, or stoneflies, the proper fly fishing hook must be chosen.  The 374 Nymph Fly is a sub-surface fishing hook as opposed to a dry fly fishing hook.

Fly 357BL – Barbless Egg Shrimp Fly Hook

Hayabusa Fishing introduced fly fishermen to two other barbless fly fishing hooks – the Fly 354 Barbless Dry Nymph Hook (for surface fishing action) and the Fly 356 Barbless Wet Fly (for sub-surface fly fishing, predominant pattern).  In both cases, though the emphasis is on different sections of the water column, both replicate a Nymph-like fly fishing hook design to match the difficulties experienced when fishing specific sections of the water column.

However, the Fly 357 Barbless Egg Shrimp Fly Hook adds another dimension to barbless fly fishing hooks.  As its name suggests, the hook features characteristics favorable for an egg and/or shrimp fly presentation.  Fly fishermen for freshwater fishing and/or saltwater fishing will find this fishing hook’s continued bend, turned down eye, double short shank, triple heavy wire, and forged metal material quite useful in catching big fish.

Fly 356BL – Barbless Wet Fly

Hayabusa Fishing introduced fly fishermen to barbless fly fishing hooks with the Fly 354 Barbless Dry Nymph.  However, fly fishermen need to balance out the presentation since dry flies are effectively used far less than wet flies.  The Fly 356 Barbless Wet Fly will be used far more frequently throughout the seasons than the dry fly model.  This fly fishing hook’s sproat bend, turned down eye, standard shank, and triple heavy wire balance each other out and improve a fly fishermen’s chances of catching desirable fish.  Keep in mind, though, it is a barbless fly fishing hook.  While it is harder to catch fish with barbless fly fishing hooks, it also causes less damage than barb fly fishing hooks.

Fly 354BL – Barbless Dry Nymph Hook

The Hayabusa Fishing Fly 354 Barbless Dry Nymph Hook enflames an old debate – barbed fly fishing hooks versus barbless fly fishing hooks.  There are pros and cons to any fishing hooks design, and this is especially true for barbless fly fishing hooks.  Many fly fishermen prefer barbless fly fishing hooks because there is a lower fish mortality rate associated with barbless fishing hook designs, in addition to quicker catch-and-release practices.  This particular barbless fly fishing hook is designed for nymph fly topwater action – some of the most exciting fly fishing available to fishermen.  Designed with a standard shank and standard wire, this dry fly fishing hook is sharpened for successful fly fishing that does less overall damage to fish.

DSR132 Finesse Hook

Hayabusa Fishing created the black matte DSR132 Finesse Hook for traditional drop shot bass fishing and other light fishing rig techniques.  Whether fishing for largemouth bass, spotted bass, or smallmouth bass, drop shot bass fishing and other light finesse fishing rigs catch all sized bass in a variety of fisheries.  Some bass fishermen prefer traditional drop shot fishing (vertical presentation as opposed to a vertical-to-horizontal hopping, dragging presentation), and the DSR 132 Finesse Hook specializes in accomplishing a convincing vertical bait presentation that bass cannot resist.

Its fine wire diameter and Hayabusa Original Point make the DSR132 Finesse Hook the ideal drop shot fishing hook for deeper water bass fishing.  Its short U-Bend shank allows for quick upward motion hooksets that increase the amount of bass caught and decrease the number of bass lost.

Brush Easy Jig Head

Hayabusa Fishing knows bass fishermen love jig heads and fishing various types of cover in an angler’s home fishery. The black matte Brush Easy Jig Head is the ideal jig head for fishing around grass, other types of vegetation, and sparsely covered brush/timber areas. Its mud black jig head has a realistic, natural appearance underwater with a Double guard (Size 2 only) or a Twin Double guard (Size 1 only).

Both weed guards are well-balanced to accomplish two factors: enhance the bait’s movement and prevent frustrating snags that slow down bass fishing. Additionally, the Brush Easy Jig Head features a short shank with a bass fishing worm, craw, or creature bait keeper, and both work in unison to enhance and support a soft bait’s underwater movements. Like many other Hayabusa Fishing products, the Brush Easy Jig Head has a Hayabusa Original Point hook point that is pressed formed for strength and sharpness.
